James Moster grew up on the South Side of Chicago and graduated from St. Ignatiius H.S. in 1963, then St. Ambrose College in 1967 and finally IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law in 1974. Jim was admitted to the Bar in 1975 and commenced the practice of law. He represented a great cross section of people, but spent the bulk of his time with builders and developers of real estate and also many small businesses. He did family law and estate work too. Jim built a successful practice based on personal service and integrity. The one common thread he noticed through all his files and cases was finances. People rarely had their investments and financials in good order. So in 1993 he transitioned into the financial services industry and joined up with The Equitable, now known as Equitable Advisors. Jim is still active in the Bar Association and networks with lawyers who have clients in need of investment and retirement plans. He enjoys working with Baby Boomers and seniors who are approaching retirement, because experience and professionalism are greatly valued by this segment of our society. Jim is married and has four children and five grandchildren.
